This very strong team pocketed another 21 kilometres of progress today under warm temperatures that rose to 0°C.
Their new campsite was established at:
N 66° 54' 14
W 51° 28' 50
Manu described a long, challenging day but was exceedingly proud when he mentioned the teamwork among individuals with a variety of speeds. The camaraderie among the participants is outstanding, making for a pleasant journey amongst the physical difficulties.
Manu also asked to give a special "shout-out" to Chris Sorensen, our local logistics wizard in Kangerlussuaq who helped Manu with the expert preparation before yesterday's departure.
As one can imagine, our team is exhausted and they were just getting settled in their tents at the time of our call. Food and sleep beckoned and we hope that both are delicious for them tonight!
