Greenland - Arctic Circle Trail
2022-02-27

Our Polar Experience guide Manu Poudelet is already installed in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland where he awaits the arrival of our new expedition participants. Starting tomorrow we will launch our Arctic Circle Trail guided expedition, a Level 2 experience for seven eager adventurers.

Our team is currently in transit via Copenhagen, Denmark where they are spending one short night. Tomorrow our participants will continue their journey to Kangerlussuaq where they will begin their final preparations for their journey that will take them approximately 160 kilometres to Sissimiut.

Manu has already been hard at work with the organisation of the expedition equipment in anticipation of a warm welcome tomorrow.

Weather conditions in the region are currently cold and sunny. When Manu arrived yesterday, the temperatures hovered around -22°C and by today they dipped below -30°C. The forecast shows that it should slightly warm up for the first days of our expedition.

Our expedition is being organised together with our trusted partner Expeditions Unlimited who will provide a LiveExplorer tracking update as our team progresses to its goal.

Weather predictions for this expedition are delivered to us each day by Weather4Expeditions.

We hope that you'll continue to join us during the next days for an inspiring vicarious journey through the pristine landscape of Greenland.
