Yesterday Joke decided to leave the expedition. She has been a fantastic team player throughout this project.

After a final night on the ice with the team, Joke was picked up by helicopter late this morning and flown back to Narsarsuaq. We wish Joke safe travels homeward and we're certain that we will see her again on another grand adventure very soon. She's one strong woman.

Dixie and Seb are continuing their snow-kite quest northward to Qaanaaq and are on the move as we post this update.
